This level 2 course is aimed at anyone who requires a course as a Fire Warden or a Fire Marshal. The course covers the latest fire safety regulations and the roles and duties of employees and their responsibilities on Fire Safety. The course is designed to meet and comply with the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005. It covers how fires are started, methods of controlling fire spread, evacuating the building, fire briefings and risk assessing.

The 2002 update to the Manual Handling Operations Regulations removed specified weight limits for lifting and carrying loads. Instead, employees are required to have the knowledge or training to assess safe handling.  This course comprehensively addresses unique risks in each sector. Key learning outcomes include understanding safe handling rationale, conducting risk assessments, grasping manual handling safety principles, and applying secure manual handling skills. This  ensures that employees comprehend their duties and grasp safe load handling fundamentals.

To be a heavy goods vehicle (HGV), bus or coach driver, you usually need a professional driving qualification called the Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC).

In 2023, the government consulted on making changes to Driver CPC.
